The article addresses the misconception that the Shīʿa only pray three times a day. In reality, they pray five prayers but permit combining Ẓuhr with ʿAṣr and Maghrib with ʿIshāʾ, as they share starting times. This is supported by Qurʾānic exegesis of Sūrat al-Isrāʾ 17:78 and multiple narrations in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim where the Prophet combined prayers in Madīnah without excuse.
